Westover Hills Valero robbed again, police need help identifying suspect

RICHMOND, Va. — Early Sunday morning, at approximately 5:08 a.m., a male with a handgun entered the Valero Gas Station convenience store at 1201 Westover Hills Boulevard and robbed the business.

The suspect is described by police as a black male, approximately 5’ 10” tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. He was wearing a blue hood and blue jumpsuit.

There were no injuries.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this man’s identity to call Third Precinct Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.

    steeling and a robbery is obviously wrong. What I can’t understand is why someone would take such a risk for such a small gain? Convenience stores generally don’t have a lot of cash and armed robbery has some pretty serious penalties.
