RICHMOND:  A Richmond Tradition - Victorian Holidays at Maymont, experience the wonders of the season now through January 4, 2015.  For the next few weeks Maymont will be decked out  for Victorian Holidays. Adults and children can enjoy the decorations and activities at this favorite Richmond Attraction.

Maymont Mansion Holiday Tours: Tuesdays - Sundays through January 4th, 2015 from 12 - 5pm, closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. A 12-foot Christmas Tree, dinning room set for a feast, evergreen decorations and gifts in grand Victorian Style as the Dooley's would have celebrated Christmas. Call 804-358-7166, ext 329.

Old Fashioned Christmas: Sunday, December 7, 12 - 5pm, It's an old-fashioned Christmas celebration as Victorian Ladies and gentleman welcome you to the Dooley's home, where you'll see a grand Christmas Tree, decorated rooms, dinner preparations Belowstairs. You'll also enjoy carriage rides, visits with St. Nick and Maymont'd Christmas Fairy, there will be music, a bonfire and other activities.  Fees for activities. Call 804-358-7166, ext. 310.

Maymont By Moonlight: Fridays, December 12 & 19, 5:30 - 9:30pm, Tour Maymont in the Moonlight, a horse-drawn carriage will take you along a luminary-lit lane to Maymont Mansion where you'll be greeted by costumed Victorian ladies and gentlemen. The year is 1893 and all is well. There will be seasonal refreshments and carol singing by the bonfire. Tickets are $28 per person and $22 for Maymont members, reservations are required on-line at http://www.maymont.org or call 804-358-7166, ext. 310.
