Two med-flight helicopters respond after crash closed Route 33 in Louisa

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. — All lanes of Route 33 (Jefferson Highway) at Whispering Pines Lane in Louisa County reopened at about 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, according to Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick. The road was closed at about 7:45 a.m. due to a crash.
“Two med-flight helicopters are en route,” Vick said via email. “Wreckers have been contacted.”
