HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A Henrico man accused of ripping off a client is facing credit card fraud and grand larceny charges.

Police said 52-year old Christopher Bruhn was hired to complete a construction project and a client gave him her credit card to buy the items needed to complete the job.

The victim told investigators she checked her bank statement and found Bruhn allegedly racked up more than $20,000 in charges at Home Depot — including items not needed for her project.

We did some digging and found out Bruhn’s family construction company had its license revoked by the Virginia Board of Contractors in 2007 and they had to pay more than $15,000 in fines for several violations.

In 2001, Bruhn appealed a grand larceny conviction at the State Supreme Court level and won.
