BRISTOL, Conn. — A Connecticut woman is sending a message to another woman who made national headlines after announcing she would end her life on her own terms following a brain tumor diagnosis, according to FoxCT.com.
Maggie Karner has the same brain tumor as Brittany Maynard and has created a video message encouraging her not to end her life.
Maynard, 29 from Oregon, announced that she would take a medication to end her life after doctors told her she only had six months to live. Recently, Maynard said she hasn’t decided when she would take that medication.
She was diagnosed with a stage IV glioblastoma multiforme.
