HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Thee awareness programs are coming up in October to talk about how gangs are impacting the county, why kids join gangs and resources parents can use to educate their children about the threat.
The first program is this Wednesday, Oct. 1,. at the Deep Run Recreation Center at 9910 Ridgefield Parkway from 7 to 8 p.m.
The second meeting will take place Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center at 1440 North Laburnum Avenue from 7 to 8 p.m.
And the final event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Henrico Theater at 305 E. Nine Mile Road also from 7 to 8 p.m.
