CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police have arrested a mother after they rescued her three-week-old child from an SUV parked at John Tyler Community College.
Tequilla R. Johnson, 34, was charged with child abuse and neglect in connection to the September 17 incident.
Campus and Chesterfield Police Students pulled the SUV's window down and removed the child who they said had been left along for “a period of time.” The child did not appear injured.
