RICHMOND, Va. — The St. Benedict’s Oktoberfest is a much anticipated, and well-attended festival that provides ample opportunity to try a tremendous amount of different beer, eat some tasty German food, and help support Catholic education.
The event is at 300 N. Sheppard Street. Admission is free. Hours are Friday 4-11 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Plenty of people head over on Friday night, and food lines can be really long. Saturday afternoon is a great time to try a lot of beer and food lines aren’t as long.
Sunday afternoon is also less crowded, but beers tend to start tapping out.
