Police release clear photos of Henrico robbery suspect

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police released two clear photos of a man accused of robbing someone along the 5000 block of Nine Mile Road in eastern Henrico.

“The suspect approached the adult male victim and inquired about purchasing electronics,” Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley wrote in an email. “The suspect indicated to the victim he had a handgun and demanded currency from the victim.  The victim complied, and the suspect fled in a sport utility vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash.  No injuries were reported.”

Police described the robbery suspect as a black man, 5’11”– 6’, 30–40 years old, 180–200 pounds. He was wearing a striped shirt and dark pants.  He had tattoos on his neck and arms.

The crime happened at about 3 p.m. on Monday, September 8.
