32 teenagers escape from youth detention center

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Thirty-two teenage boys escaped from a youth detention center on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday night, a spokesman for the state Department of Children’s Services said.

By Tuesday morning, 15 of the escapees had turned themselves in or were caught on local roadways.

Seventeen remain at large.
