Triple shooting at ‘Go-Go’ party in Spotsylvania

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va.- The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an overnight triple shooting that occurred early Sunday.

According to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office shortly around 2:20a.m., deputies received a call for shots fired on the 10600 block of Spotsylvania Avenue.

A detective observed approximately 50-60 people running from the area of a “Go-Go” party.

When deputies arrived, they discovered from their investigation, three subjects suffering from gunshot wounds.

The first victim, a 24- year-old male, from Colonial Beach, was found lying in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported by Rescue Unit to Mary Washington Hospital to undergo emergency surgery and was listed in serious condition.

The second victim, a 33 -year-old male, from Spotsylvania County, was taken to Mary Washington Hospital emergency room before law enforcement and Rescue Units arrived on scene. He was reported as suffering from a single gunshot wound and received a non-life threatening injury.

The third victim, a 18- year-old male from Maryland, was also taken to Mary Washington Hospital in critical condition by bystanders, before units arrived on scene.
