PETERSBURG, Va. -- On Tuesday, the US Marshal Service increased their reward for information that leads to the arrest of Alexander Hill Jr., "the person of interest" in a violent Petersburg quadruple homicide, to $10,000.  The community had also raised $5,000, so that brings the total reward up to $15,000.

It's been more than six months since Andre Washington's aunt and three other family members were found dead inside a charred home on Harding Street in Petersburg.

"Everyday it hurts," Washington told CBS 6 in August, "It's going to keep on hurting."

The family has been fighting for justice, and living in fear with the family's killer still at large.

Since the deaths, both state and federal investigators have been on the hunt for Alexander Hill Jr.,a person of interest in the killings of three women and a child that occurred on Saturday April 19, 2014.

He was spotted in surveillance video on Easter Sunday in North Carolina, and he is still on the run. Hill is also wanted for violating a protective order, providing false information to police and assault.

Hill has known connections in the Richmond area, Newport News, Virginia Beach and Trinidad.  He is considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.

The total reward to find Hill has now reached $15,000. The family and community have worked to raise funds.

Over 300 gathered on Harding Street for a vigil.

Petersburg City Councilman Howard Myers said the community has raised over $5,500 to transfer to Crime Solvers if a tip comes in.

On Oct, 1, the U.S. Marshals increased contribution to $10,000 -- earmarked for anyone with information.

"I know somebody out there has seen him," said Washington. "You can't just disappear off the face of the earth, please someone call and help capture this man."

"From the grave I know my aunt is telling us to keep fighting, don't give up," said Washington.

If you have information on his whereabouts, call U.S. Marshals at their Fugitive Task Force Hotline: 1-877-Wanted-2.
