6 adults, child need help after Richmond house fire

RICHMOND, Va. — The Red Cross was called to help six adults and a child who were displaced by a house fire Friday afternoon in South Richmond.

The fire along the 2400 block of Lamberts Ave., near Jeff Davis Highway and Bells Road, was reported at about 1:50 p.m. It was marked under control about 10 minutes later.

No one was hurt in the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
