OHIO, Sandusky –  A popular swing ride at Cedar Point has been shut down indefinitely after an accident. A cable broke on the Skyhawk, hitting two people who were on the ride. The cable also broke the fence that surrounds the ride, according to Fox17online.com.

Two giant arms swing riders at speeds of up to 60 miles an hour.

The riders were let off once the ride came to a stop.

One person was treated at the scene. A second guest was taken to the hospital. A spokesman for Cedar Point says that person has been released.
