PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. -- Law enforcement officers have arrested three people in connection to the abduction of a Pittsylvania County teen.
An amber alert was issued Saturday for 15-year-old Dustin Shaver, who was later found safe in North Carolina.
That alert was canceled around 7:15 a.m. Sunday after officers arrested Denise Shaver, the teen’s mother, Kayla Hoy and Kevin Parrish.
They were located in Benson, North Carolina with Dustin.
WDBJ reportsthat the trio were charged with abduction.
Shaver and Parrish are being held in the Johnston County Jail. Hoy is behind bars in the Wake County Jail.
