draft vendingMinnesota’s Target Field is the first major league baseball stadium to get a self-serve beer station.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune said fans got to try it out on Sunday during the Twins’ game against the New York Yankees.

The machine dispenses four beer varities and fans are charged by the ounce.

A customer goes to a concession cashier, shows identification, and buys a $10 or $20 vendor card to scan at the machine.

Fans then scan their card and can regulate how much they want to have poured.

They can withdraw up to 48 ounces every 15 minutes (four beers), but there will be an employee at each station to step in someone appears intoxicated.

There’s only one station at Target Stadium, but another is expected to open in time for the All-Star game on July 15.
