Stray bullet flies into Henrico home, strikes woman

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – A stray bullet ricocheted off a parked car and struck a woman inside her Oakland Chase Place home, according to Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney. The injury to the woman’s shoulder was considered “minor,” police said.

Someone was shooting a gun along the 6500 block of Oakland Chase Place about 1:45 Friday morning.  Several rounds hit parked cars, police said.

The Oakland Chase subdivision is located in Varina.
