RICHMOND, Va. – We are now in the hottest stretch of weather since last summer.  It will be even hotter today with afternoon highs in the mid 90s, and it will feel closer to 100°.  There is an air quality alert for the Richmond metro area, and covers Hanover, Henrico, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Charles City & New Kent counties, as well as the Tri-Cities.
