Lanes reopen after flipped vehicle backed up traffic on I-95

UPDATE: All lanes have reopened.

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – An accident involving an overturned vehicle has closed lanes on Interstate 95 south near the Henrico-Hanover line.

“The left and left center lanes are closed near mile marker 85 (south of Atlee/Elmont) due to a crash,” VDOT advised. “There is currently a 4 mile backup.”

No information has been released about the cause of crash.

Police have not said if anyone was seriously injured.
