DOUGLAS, Ariz. – Border Patrol agents stopped a flatbed truck carrying 3,200 pounds of pot across the border from Mexico into the U.S. The truck displayed fake decals that made it look like a government vehicle, authorities said.

A representative with U.S. Customs and Border Protection said when Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents in Douglas, Arizona tried to stop the truck, the driver and another person fled back over the border into Mexico.

The agents searched the truck, made to look like a U.S. Fish and Wildfire Service vehicle, and found bundles of marijuana in hidden compartments throughout the vehicle.
