7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint by man with black stocking

HOPEWELL, Va. – Hopewell police are searching for the suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint Sunday morning.

According to Hopewell police, around 3:16a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2311 Oaklawn Blvd. for a reported Armed Robbery.

The suspect entered the business, brandished a large framed handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7”-5’9” with a heavy build, last seen wearing a faded blue/grey denim style jacket, blue jeans, a black stocking covering his entire head, light colored bags covering his shoes, and light colored gloves.
