39th Annual Richmond Greek Festival is here!

RICHMOND, Va. — Once again Richmonders have a chance to experience Greek cuisine and lifestyle.

The 39th annual Richmond Greek Festival kicked off Thursday, May 29, and will run through Sunday June 1st at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, on 30 Malvern Avenue off Grove Avenue. There is free parking at the church and along Grove Avenue and side streets.

You can count on four-days of delicious Greek foods, pastries and Greek wines. And to celebrate opening day,  the festival features a Choir Concert on Thursday, May 29th at 8 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

There are also Cathedral tours through out the weekend, in addition to dancers, musicians and arts and crafts.

Festival hours are Thursday until 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

If you don’t want to wait in the lines, you can go through the drive-thru.

Drive-thru hours are Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to dusk and Sunday noon – dusk.
