10 students taken to hospital following bus crash

RICHMOND, Va. - Ten students were taken to the hospital as a precaution after a morning school bus accident. A vehicle collided with the Fairfield Court Elementary School bus near Sussex St. and Whitcomb St. in Richmond.

Fairfield Court Elementary School is currently housed in Clark Springs Elementary School.

There were 50 students on the bus at the time of the crash, Richmond school officials said.

Neither police nor the school system has released details about the extent of injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

    People are not slowing down and I bet they were texting!!! In Henrico. I have seen little enforcement of School Zone speed. The worst area is Francistown Road and Gaskins over here by Gayton Crossing. Where is enforcement?
