PHILADELPHIA (WTVR) — A celebration of life will be held Tuesday in Philadelphia for University of Richmond associate head coach Ginny Doyle.

Doyle and two others died May 9 when the hot-air balloon they were riding in hit a power line, caught fire and crashed near Doswell.

Doyle was a standout basketball player in high school and at UR. In fact, she set the NCAA record for consecutive free throws by a man or
woman with 66.

A prayer and mass will be also held Wednesday morning in Philadelphia.

Donations to the Ginny Doyle Memorial Fund can be made at UR.
