J.J. Abrams offers fans a chance to win a role in ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’

ABU DHABI – Director J.J. Abrams took to YouTube Wednesday, where he announced a contest that will give fans the chance to appear in the upcoming “Star Wars: Episode VII.”

Abrams appears on the set of the new “Star Wars” film in Abu Dhabi, and he announced that Disney and Lucasfilm are collaborating on a contest with Bad Robot to create the Star Wars: Force for Change campaign, which will benefit UNICEF. Fans who donate “as little as $10” to the the campaign can be entered to win the opportunity to appear in Star Wars Episode VII after visiting the set.

“…Winner and their guest will then be transformed by makeup and costume teams into a Star Wars character and filmed for a scene in Star Wars: Episode VII.”
