TAMPA, Fla. (WFTS) - An eight-year-old Florida girl helped deliver her baby brother after her mom went into labor but could not make it to the hospital.

"I was in the bathroom and my water broke and I yelled for her... Jazmine grab the cordless phone. Dial 911," mother Krystle Garcia said.

So Jazmine McEnaney picked up the phone and called for help.

"My Mom is pregnant and her water just broke," Jazmine told the 911 operator.

"I was freaking out. I am like, I am home with my eight year old daughter, you know. Even if I called somebody they are not going to come quick enough. It was.. It happened so fast," Krystle said.

Just 13 minutes after she called 911, and before paramedics arrived, baby Joseph James Snyder was born -- two weeks early and weighed five pounds, 10 ounces.
