SOUTH GLENS FALLS, New York (WTVR) – Two children were injured after they fell from a Bounce House that was lifted into the air and blown away by a gust of wind Monday in Upstate New York, according to a report on WNYT.com.

“An investigation revealed that the two boys, ages 5 and 6, were playing in a small, inflated bounce house that was set up in a yard and a sudden and strong burst of wind lifted the toy up approximately 15 or 20 feet above the ground and the two boys fell out,” South Glens Falls Police said in a news release. “Witnesses stated that there were several adults monitoring the children playing and that the bounce house was staked to the ground. Although the investigation is continuing the incident is considered a tragic accident and no charges are pending.”

Police have not released information on the children’s condition, however WNYT.com reported the boys suffered serious injuries.
