RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Monday will be cooler than Sunday's 84 degrees in Richmond, as a result of a cold front that moved through the Commonwealth last night into North Carolina.

Skies are clear this morning, but energy is coming our way that will bring more clouds through lunch, as well as the chance for showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon through tonight.  Highs today will be noticeably cooler in the mid 60s to lower 70s.

We will see variable cloudiness on Tuesday with highs in the lower 70s.  There is just the slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm.
