FREE COFFEE: Free McCafe’ beverages this week for local educators and school administrators from central Virginia McDonald’s. From May 5th through the 9th, get one free McCafe beverage per visit No purchase necessary. Just let them know you’re a local educator or staff member when placing your order and show a school I.D. card.

FREE ENTRÉE: On May 6, from 4 p.m. to close, Chipotle Mexican Grill will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day with a special buy-one, get-one (BOGO) deal for school staff at all Chipotle locations in the U.S. The promotion is applicable to all teachers, faculty and school staff of all levels, as well as homeschooling parents with official documentation.  Details HERE.

FREE ADMISSION: Celebrate at the annual Que Pasa  fest. This Saturday, May 3rd on Richmond’s Canal Walk. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with Latin foods, arts and crafts, music and performances.  Details HERE.

FREE PROGRAM: Free Admission as young students of the Richmond Ballet’s Minds-In-Motion program present their dance extravaganza “Jamestown: Unearthing a New World”.   Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2 at 6 & 8pm and Sunday May 4 at 2 & 4pm at the Carpenter Theater at 600 E. FREE TOURS: The Hanover Historical Society offers free Open House tours of the historic Hanover Courthouse on the second Tuesday of each month between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No reservations are required. Details HERE.

FREE FOR ACTIVE MILITARY: Free annual passes to America’s National Parks (value $80) are available to members of the military and their families free of charge. The pass allows entrance to more than 2,000 national parks, wildlife refuges and other public lands. The free pass will be made available for activated members of the National Guard and Reserves but not to military veterans or retirees. Military personnel can get the passes by showing their military I.D at any national park or wildlife refuge that charges an entrance fee.
