HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- A 14-year-old Henrico boy with a rare form of dwarfism can now get around more easily.

CBS 6 News shared Brad Farbstein’s story in December after he launched a campaign on Facebook called "Help Brad Move" to raise money for a Segway.

Brad posted on social media Friday that he is now the proud new owner of a Robstep, which is similar to a Segway.

"This mobility device will allow me to reach new heights and distances," Brad wrote on Facebook. "I had the most amazing time riding it around Monument Ave and actually being able to keep up and not constantly have to stop every few steps."

Brad said he loves his new eco-friendly personal transporter – and is grateful for everyone’s support.

However, the campaign is not over. Brad now hopes to buy a ramp-like device so he and his family can get the 40-pound Robstep in and out of the car.
