RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Clear skies overnight, lighter winds and dry air allowed our temperatures Thursday morning to dip into the 30s and lower 40s. Some of you even fell to freezing northwest of Richmond (Louisa, I'm talking about you!).

You can shed some of those layers through the day, though, because we'll make it into the upper 60s this afternoon with ample sunshine. Winds will, thankfully, give us a break today.

That means we'll have a lower wildfire threat, and the pollen won't be blown around as much today.

However, the tree pollen is still Very High, and that will keep aggravating those of you who react to trees. (CLICK HERE for the latest allergy update from the Allergy Partners of Richmond).
