Chicago (WGN) — A Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago to Sacramento was diverted after an unruly passenger tried to open a door mid-flight.

People on Sunday’s flight say the passenger wanted to jump out of the plane.

Three passengers tackled the man, and air marshals subdued him until the flight made an emergency landing in Omaha, Nebraska.

People on the plane say the man was acting strangely during the flight.

At one point, he came out of the bathroom soaking wet.

His name has not been released.

The plane continued on to Sacramento and arrived two hours late.
