FORT LEE, Va. (WTVR) — Officials say a controlled burn will take place at Fort Lee in a training area north of Temple Ave. around noon Monday.
Stephen J. Baker, Fort Lee’s Acting Public Affairs Director, said that post personnel and area fire departments will be closely monitoring the blaze.
“The burn is being conducted to support range operations, training area improvement and habitat enhancement,” Baker said in a news release.
