CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police are asking for the public’s help finding a man accused of stabbing and strangling a woman during a domestic dispute last weekend.

Chesterfield police said 44-year-old Anthony Wright stabbed his girlfriend after an argument at a residence in the 2800 block of Camberwell Road on Saturday around 12:15 a.m.
“The victim suffered a superficial stab wound and a struggle ensued, during which Wright strangled the victim,” police said in a news release.
The woman, who managed to escape and call police, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Felonious assault, abduction and kidnapping and strangulation in relation to the incident warrants have been issued for Wright.
Wright, of no permanent address, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
