EXETER, Penn. (WTVR) — After bowling for 65 years, an 81-year-old Pennsylvania man has finally bowled a 300 perfect game.

Ray Niedzwiecki’s friends were taking video Monday night as he bowled at Modern Lanes in Exeter, Penn.

“Our team had already won the championship, and I was going to try bowling with this other ball I had,” Niedzwiecki told WNEP.

Mark Mancini, who owns Modern Lanes, said everyone in the bowling alley stopped to watch Ray’s game.

“It just kept getting louder and louder every time that he got up, and when he got up to the tenth frame, everything just kind of stopped,” said Mancini.

“This is an amazing feat and shows us never give up on your goals and you can achieve them,” Niedzwiecki said.

Niedzwiecki  admitted he has come close to scoring a perfect 300 game, which is 12 strikes in a row, but never made it until this week.

“Don’t give up,” said Niedzwiecki, who never threw in the towel even after playing 11 games of 11 strikes over the years.

Niedzwiecki also said practice makes perfect.
