RICHMOND COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond County Elementary School was evacuated Tuesday while law enforcement investigated a bomb threat at the school, according to a post on the Richmond County Public Schools.

“As a precautionary measure, students have been evacuated to Rappahannock High School while the bomb threat is being investigated by the local law enforcement,” the post read. “Following the investigation the school day will continue as scheduled. However, parents may pick-up their students at Rappahannock High School gymnasium if they choose to.”
