LIVE UPDATES: Ice causes morning traffic issues on 95, 64 and 288
RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Numerous accidents are being reported Tuesday morning around Richmond as roads remains icy following Monday’s winter weather.

While some roads remain icy, finally some “better” traffic news from Kristen Luehrs.
All westbound lanes and the eastbound right lane have reopened at mm 221 (just east of Rt. 33/West Point) in New Kent. The eastbound left lane remains closed.
All lanes have reopened on Route 288 south in Chesterfield.
All lanes were closed at the Powhite Parkway (Rt. 76) overpass due to a crash.

Roads remain an icy mess as of 7:25 a.m., here’s the latest update from Kristen Luehrs.
Va. State Police: Between 12:01 a.m. Mar 17 through 7:00 a.m. Mar. 18, troopers have responded to 247 motor vehicle crashes mostly involving property damage.
Troopers in the Richmond Division are currently on-scene or responding to an additional 28 motor vehicle crashes.
VDOT: All lanes are closed I-64 east/west at Airport Dr. (mm 197) in Henrico due to multiple crashes in area. Drivers can take Exits 197 (A and B) to use an alternate route. Expect delays.
