RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for central & eastern Virginia through this evening.
A line of showers and storms will continue tracking eastward across the state. Wind gusts of 60+ mph are possible with some storms. Although the threat for tornadoes cannot be ruled out, an isolated tornado is possible. However, the main threat from the storms will be strong winds.
After the line moves through, the severe threat will be over.
