HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- Hundreds of volunteers and emergency responders from across the state gathered for a weekend of training.

This fifth annual Central Virginia EMS Expo took place Sunday at the Henrico Fire Training Center.

About 450 participants registered to take part in the event, which included CPR training, crime scene investigation skills and an active shooter exercise.

There were 79 classes offered throughout the weekend.
