Police charged Jonathan Isiah Westinghouse, 22, of Wilkinson Rd., with one count of rape and one count of sodomy with a victim under the age of 13.

“Henrico Police Detectives received information that Jonathan Isiah Westinghouse was having an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile acquaintance/family friend,” Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney wrote in an email. “Mr. Westinghouse is known to frequent roller skating rinks in the area. If anyone has additional information regarding Mr. Westinghouse, please contact Henrico Police at 804-501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.”

Police said the incident that led to Westinghouse’s arrest happened in a home off of Hilliard Road.

Police sources told CBS 6 there could be more alleged victims.

Sources also said that Westinghouse frequented the Roller Dome on Williamsburg Rd.

An employee at the roller skating rink was not able to comment regarding Westinghouse, and referred CBS 6 to the owners.

Crystal Turner lives by the Roller Dome. She said she believes she’s seen Westinghouse near the area before.

“He would be walking back and forth and he would wear a black jacket and would just stop and stare at people,” said Turner.

Too bad it’s Henrico where crimes against pets are treated more harshly than crimes against children in the judicial system. It’s almost a guarantee that the charges will be plead down to a minor misdemeanor and he’ll be sentenced to time served. I’m grateful to our local media for reporting on these crimes and keeping us updated because Henrico is the ONLY county in VA where access to circuit court case info is blocked from the public by the ELECTED Clerk of Court, Yvonne G. Smith. Her office no. is 804-501-4202 for anyone who wants to ask her why she chooses protection of the identities of violent felons over the safety of our children.

Your statement about Smith (republican) made for a very interesting search and read. The very notion that felony court records/recordings are not property of the court needs to be adjudicated immediately.

I’ve seen this guy at my local roller skating rink! He is an amazing skater, usually wears headphones, a hoodie, and sometimes sunglasses. I even talked to him once and complimented his skating, but he was really quiet and uninterested in talking to me. Thankfully, I’ve never seen him interact with any kids at the rink. Scary!!!
