RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — A juvenile was struck by a van Tuesday afternoon, at North Avenue and Laburnum Avenue, police confirmed.
The intersection is just east of Chamberlayne Avenue.
Richmond police and first responders said a 14-year-old boy crossing the road in a crosswalk suffered minor injuries after he was struck by a van.
A 58-year-old woman was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Richmond police are still investigating the incident.
