HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - The man arrested for raping a woman outside the Beach House Bar and Grill in Innsbrook was found guilty of rape and sodomy.
Driton Sulejmani, 25, testified during his trial Friday. He said the victim had approached him, and asked him several times to engage in sexual intercourse.
Sulejmani went into graphic detail about the incident and said it was all consensual.
However, the victim said that it was Sulejmani that approached her as she was getting ready to pay for her tab at the bar.
The victim said he was going to walk her to her car and then threw her up against a wall and hit her head and then forced her to perform oral sex on him.
The prosecution argued several people saw the victim's face covered in blood and that she had sustained injuries.
However, Sulejmnai said that the victim had just told him she had a bloody nose.
