Central Virginians can get another look at the place they enjoy for summer vacations covered in snow.

A storm system moved along the North Carolina and South Carolina line on Tuesday, and dumped snow across parts of eastern North Carolina. This is not the storm that will impact Virginia tomorrow.

Numerous areas reported more than 10 inches of snow, with one picture measuring 12 inches in Nagshead.  New Bern, just south and west of Pamlico Sound, also reported some record-breaking snow.

When it snowed heavily across Virginia and the North Carolina coast just two weeks ago, Lori Sorenson submitted pictures of white beaches next to the white caps of the Atlantic Ocean, and the bright beach colors popping next to the snow.

The County of Dare, North Carolina also posted some pretty amazing pictures from the last storm that are worth checking out on their Flickr page.
