HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Friends and family gathered Saturday to remember two girls who died after a car crash following a police chase earlier this week.
The vigil was held at Osbourne Landing for 27-year-old Jessica Gallmeyer and her step-sister, 15-year-old Amanda Irby.
They both passed away from injuries sustained in that crash just off of East Williamsburg Road in Henrico.
Police say the two were riding in a car with 23-year-old Andrew Taylor Walters when he ran from police and crashed into the Chickahominy River.
