South Richmond (WTVR) – Richmond firefighters remain on the scene of a two-alarm fire at a South Richmond factory.

The fire broke out around 3:40 a.m. inside a maintenance facility at the Peterbilt plant in the 2800 block of Deepwater Terminal Road, which runs just along Interstate 95.

Firefighters arrived on scene and found flames shooting out of the building and called a second alarm.

Richmond Fire Lt. Robbie Hagaman says the fire was marked under control shortly after 5 a.m.

No one was hurt in the fire. At this point it is unclear if anyone was in the factory when the fire broke out.
