RICHMOND, Va. ( – Last Sunday at Steady Sounds, a locally owned record store, located at 322 W. Broad Street, had an exclusive release of the new Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings record, Give the People What They Want.

The new record, which is scheduled for release on January 14 is highly anticipated from fans of the amazing soul singer since it’s been put on hold for nearly a year while Sharon had courageously fought cancer.

She has gone through a series of treatments and now is hopefully headed to a wonderful and steady recovery.
