Armed robbery suspect found hiding in Petersburg closet

PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) -- A man wanted for an armed robbery in Hanover County was discovered hiding in his girlfriend’s closet.

Kevin Connolly with the department of justice said Donald Bailey was found hiding in the closet at his girlfriend's home in Petersburg Friday.

Deputies said Bailey pulled out a gun and robbed the Shell gas station in the 10000 block of Lewistown Rd. on Dec. 21.

Bailey is also wanted by Henrico police on a misdemeanor failure to appear in court charge.
