HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who robbed a truck stop twice early Tuesday morning.

The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office was called out to the Truck Stops of America, located at 10134 Lewistown Road, at 2:45 a.m. for two reported robberies.

Deputies said the first robbery happened at the service desk before the same suspect robbed the fuel desk, which is located in a different part of the business.

During both incidents, the suspect displayed a gun and demanded money from clerks. The suspect was last seen running away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170-180 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing camouflage clothing, dark boots, white-rimmed sunglasses, and a camouflage mask. He was carrying a blue duffle bag.

Investigators are trying to figure out if there is a connection to a similar robbery at the truck stop on Saturday.
