Crews investigate restaurant fire in Richmond

UPDATE: The cause of the fire has been listed as an accidental cooking related fire

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Investigators are working on what caused a fire in Richmond Saturday night.

Crews were called to a restaurant on the 3900 block of Old Hopkins Road shortly before 10 p.m. for heavy fire.

When they arrived on scene, they saw heavy fire near the roof of the building.  Officials called two additional crews to the scene for manpower.

According to Lt. Hagaman, crews are still on scene working to extinguish hot spots.

The fire was marked under control shortly before midnight.

There were no injuries.
