RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Community Idea Stations is rolling out the red carpet again with screenings of Downton Abbey. There will be two special screenings of the first hour of episode four Thursday evening at 7 and again at 9:30 at the Byrd Theatre in Cary Town. The event is free and open to the public on a first come first serve basis.

Fans of the popular British series are encouraged to wear Edwardian period dress and participate in the costume contest. The Downton Abbey screenings also marks the 50th Anniversary kick-off for the Community Idea Stations and the 85th Anniversary Celebration of the Byrd Theatre. In addition Community Idea Stations will raffle off  a trip to the real Downton Abbey, tickets are $200 and only 2,000 will be sold.
